Anderson Auto is seeking a Cashier/Receptionist to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, performing clerical duties, and handling front-desk reception tasks. The Cashier/Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to the overall success of the business.

What You'll Do 

  • Be the first point of contact for customers by answering calls, greeting guests, and creating a welcoming, professional first impression. 

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting guests promptly, answering questions, and ensuring every visitor feels valued. 

  • Process customer payments (cash, check, and credit card) accurately and efficiently while providing clear, professional receipts and documentation. 

  • Maintain accuracy and accountability by reconciling daily cash logs, preparing deposits, and ensuring all transactions follow dealership procedures. 

  • Support smooth daily operations by tracking repair orders, monitoring outstanding invoices, and communicating with management as needed.  

  • Assist with rental and courtesy vehicle coordination, including scheduling, payment processing, and inventory support.  

  • Help resolve customer needs by directing inquiries to the right team members and handling concerns with professionalism and care.  

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment that reflects the dealership’s high standards.  

  • Join a supportive team where reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail are valued and contribute directly to the success of the dealership. 

What We're Looking For 

  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help customers.  

  • Friendly, professional communication skills with the ability to create a welcoming experience for every guest.  

  • Previous cashier, customer service, or administrative experience is helpful but not required.  

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office systems, with general computer skills and the ability to operate standard office equipment (phones, printers, scanners).  

  • Detail-oriented and dependable, with the ability to accurately handle cash and complete transactions.  

  • Able to work independently while also being a supportive and reliable team player in a fast-paced environment. 

Requirements 

  • High School Diploma or GED required 

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record 

  • Ability to pass background check 

  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening 

  • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse. 

  • Frequent standing for varying lengths of time and walking moderate distances to perform work. 

  • Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds.
