Responsible For: Front Desk Clerical/Reception/Call Center
Overtime Status: Non-Exempt
Job summary: Seeking Full Time Receptionist/Call Center Receptionist for very busy ambulatory clinic to support 1- Plastics and 3- Oculo-Facial Plastic Surgeons in Tacoma with two satellite locations (one day per week each) in Puyallup and Federal Way. The position is 32 to 40 hours per week with an option for paid overtime during infrequent busy periods. Our clinic hours are M-F 8-5, we are closed all weekends, evenings and holidays. We offer a positive and family oriented work culture and a generous benefit package.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Handle heavy volume of incoming patient calls
  2. Schedule Patient Appts
  3. Take Messages/Route Patient Inquiries
  4. Patient Appointment Check in/Check Out
  5. Gather Patient Demographic/Insurance Information
  6. Other duties as assigned
Education requirements:
  1. High School Diploma or GED required
Experience Requirements:
  1. Prefer at least 1 year clerical experience in health care setting but not required
Performance Requirements:
  1. Computer proficiency

  3. Excellent Customer Service
  4. Excellent Verbal and Written communication
Knowledge:
  1. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
