Responsable restauration

Le Responsable restauration mene et guide au quotidien l'equipe d'Hospitalite et apportera son aide aux taches courantes et complexes. Il est charge de creer une experience client exceptionnelle et sert de modele en creant un environnement qui offre un service et une qualite exceptionnels tout en repondant aux besoins des clients internes et externes. Ce poste peut egalement inclure des taches generales de bureau telles que la reception, la photocopie, les services de courrier, l'expedition et la reception de produits et de fournitures, le tri, la distribution et le traitement du courrier entrant et sortant. 

Responsabilites :

  • Superviser la gestion des inventaires, s'assurer du bon approvisionnement de la cuisine, du centre de conference et des espaces cafe; 
  • Assurer un service a la clientele exceptionnel pour tous les evenements, y compris la coordination des exigences des reunions, la livraison rapide de la nourriture, des boissons et des besoins de traiteur, coordonner des horaires du personnel avec les evenements et connaitre la technologie des salles de conference; 
  • Suivre les ventes et gerer les rapports quotidiens; 
  • Examiner les recus, les registres de caisse et les documents de caisse pour en assurer l'exactitude 
  • Veiller a l'ordre, a l'entretien regulier et a l'assainissement de l'equipement de la cuisine, du salon et des espaces cafe; 
  • Former l'equipe et veiller au respect des procedures operationnelles des systemes de point de vente et des caisses enregistreuses afin de traiter efficacement les commandes 
  • Travailler avec les specialistes des evenements pour assurer un service exceptionnel pour tous les evenements du service a la clientele sur place 
  • Maintenir la certification en matiere de salubrite alimentaire; 
  • Executer possiblement des taches generales de bureau, de reception, de photocopie, de services de courrier, d'expedition et de reception de produits et de fournitures, de tri, de distribution et de traitement du courrier entrant et sortant 
  • Effectuer d'autres taches, telles qu'assignees par son superviseur. 

Qualifications :

  • Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou formation generale (FG) 
  • Minimum de quatre ans d'experience dans un service alimentaire, un role de traiteur, un role d'hote ou de planificateur d'evenements, experience de supervision preferee 
  • Certification en matiere de salubrite alimentaire; 
  • Certification requise pour servir de l'alcool, comme Smart Serve en Ontario 

Competences :

  • Connaissance pratique des normes acceptees dans le secteur de la restauration en ce qui concerne la salubrite alimentaire, la manipulation et la preparation des aliments, la mise en place et le service de la nourriture et des boissons 
  • Capacite de travailler selon un horaire flexible, y compris le soir et les fins de semaine 
  • Capacite de travailler dans un environnement a rythme rapide et a pression elevee, avec un grand souci du detail et la capacite de travailler sous pression; 
  • Excellentes aptitudes a la communication verbale et ecrite, et capacite a faire preuve de discretion et de jugement 
  • Excellentes competences en matiere de coordination, d'organisation, de relations interpersonnelles et de resolution de problemes 
  • Excellentes aptitudes a effectuer plusieurs taches a la fois et capacite d'adaptation au changement;
  • Oriente vers le service;
  • Capacite de travailler en equipe ou seul 
  • Excellentes habiletes informatiques avec les applications Microsoft 
  • Capacite de soulever et de pousser regulierement des objets pesant jusqu'a 30 livres. 

Catering Lead

The Catering Lead will provide day-to-day leadership and direction to Hospitality team and assist in routine to complex matters.  They are responsible for creating an exceptional client experience and serves as a role model in creating an environment that delivers exceptional service, quality and meets the needs of internal and external clients.  This position may also include general clerical, reception, copying, mail services, shipping and receiving products and supplies, sorting, distributing and handling incoming and outgoing mail. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring the kitchen, conference center and coffee rooms are well stocked 
  • Ensure exceptional client service for all events, including coordinating meeting requirements, prompt delivery of food, beverage and catering needs, coordinating staff schedules with events and familiarity with boardroom technology 
  • Track sales and manage daily reports 
  • Review receipts, cash records and cash log sheets to assure accuracy 
  • Ensure tidiness and regular maintenance and sanitation of equipment in the kitchen, lounge and coffee rooms 
  • Train and monitor team's utilization of operational procedures for POS systems and registers to efficiently process orders 
  • Work with Event Specialists to ensure exceptional service for all on site Client Service Events 
  • Maintain food safety certification 
  • May also include general clerical, reception, copying, mail services, shipping and receiving products and supplies, sorting, distributing and handling incoming and outgoing mail 
  • Other duties as assigned by manager 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a food services, catering role, hospitality or event planning role, supervisory experience preferred 
  • Food Safe Certification 
  • Certification required to serve alcohol (eg. Smart Serve in Ontario) 

Skills:

  • Applied knowledge of accepted food service industry standards with regard to food sanitation, food handling and preparation, food and beverage set-up and service 
  • Must be able to work flexible hours - including evening and weekends 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to exercise discretion and good judgement 
  • Possess excellent co-ordination, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptable to change  
  • Service oriented  
  • Ability to work as a team or independently 
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Applications 
  • Ability to regularly lift and push objects up to 30 lbs.
