Responsibilities
  • Answers and directs incoming calls in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner, paging employees when required;
  • Responsible for managing office voicemail and distributing messages;
  • Greets all visitors, answers questions, and directs to meeting rooms, or connects them with staff members;
  • Manages, monitors, and responsible for general maintenance of reception area;
  • Opens, date stamps, sorts, and distributes incoming mail;
  • Prepares outbound packages as per senders’ requests and receives/distributes incoming couriers;
  • Orders office supplies for district or assigned area;
  • Willing and able to work in and adapt to change;
  • Knowledgeable in department/project-specific software.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma;
  • Less than one year reception experience;
  • Professional communication in person and over the phone;

  • Ability to multitask;
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential and privileged information;
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult calls and situations;
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure;
  • Ability to adapt to various work styles;

  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
