Overview

On Call / Part Time Receptionist/Service Associate- VA (PT)

 

IST Management is a rapidly growing business process outsourcing (BPO) company and the largest American privately-owned facilities management company. Founded in 1997, the company is a two-time recipient of the Human Resources Professional Excellence Award granted by the Society for Human Resource Management. This is a part time time direct hire position The Receptionist/Office Services Associate will work closely with the Facilities, Executive Administrative Staff, and Property Management to ensure that all daily operational, maintenance and janitorial tasks are taken care of to maintain the value and appearance of operations. We observe a business professional dress code. Must be willing to cross train for potential advancement opportunities!

Compensation: While the compensation for this position is finally dependent upon the candidate's experience/qualifications, the approximate compensation for this position will be $18.00 to 20.00 to be paid hourly.

Location: Northern VA

Hours: Varies - Monday through Friday 7:00AM - 6:00PM 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Office Services

  • Pickup/sort/deliver mail. Sign and account for overnight mail deliveries and ensure delivery is made to the recipient
  • Front desk reception coverage including answering phones and directing calls
  • Set-up and breakdowns for meetings
  • General housekeeping of all conference rooms
  • Kitchen supply management (ordering and restocking of supplies)
  • Internal building move coordination
  • Respond, coordinate and submit building related issues with property management and or outside contractors
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - College Degree is a plus and allows a fast track plan to management.
  • Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint a must)
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks and willingness to cross-train for other job functions
  • Capable of lifting up to 55 pounds; Reliable transportation
  • Experience in reception/office services a plus
