We are seeking a friendly and professional Reception Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Reception Manager, the Reception Assistant supports both reception and hosting functions, ensuring members and guests receive a warm welcome while contributing to the smooth operation of the front-of-house.

What we're looking for:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following and may change or be adjusted at any time:
  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all members and guests.
  • Support the team in addressing members using correct names/titles where possible.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate sign-in records for members, guests, and visitors.
  • Escort or direct guests to relevant areas and assist in reuniting members with their guests.
  • Assist with answering phones and directing enquiries appropriately.
  • Support reservation checks, guest lists, and function sheets prior to service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and cloakroom areas.
  • Assist with basic enquiries, emails, and internal communication follow-ups.
  • Support the team in upholding club rules and policies.
  • Ensure a consistently tidy and presentable reception environment.
  • Demonstrate a warm, friendly, and team-oriented attitude in all interactions.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Reception Ambience
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of reception areas.
  • Assist in ensuring lighting, music, and general atmosphere meet standards.

Minimum qualifications (education, experience, skills)
  • 1 year previous fine-dining or luxury customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop in hospitality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
