Job description

The Childcare Administrator supports the daily operations of the childcare center by providing administrative, classroom, and family support while ensuring a welcoming, organized, and compliant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct tours for prospective families.
  • Greet and assist students, families, and visitors.
  • Maintain student files and enrollment records.
  • Track and manage daily attendance.
  • Support and cross-train in classrooms as needed.
  • Assist teachers and provide classroom coverage when necessary.
  • Coordinate and maintain food program records and compliance.
  • Create flyers, newsletters, and center communications.
  • Schedule and organize field trips and special events.
  • Prepare weekly supply and grocery lists.
  • Monitor and maintain classroom and office inventory.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and seasonal decoration of the lobby and reception area.
  • Answer phones, emails, and parent inquiries.
  • Support licensing compliance and required documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and family information.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development.

Qualifications
