Job description

About the Role 

Do you enjoy improving lives, working as a self-starter, connecting with people face to face, staying active, and driving to several places during the day? 

If so, this role might be for you. 

As an Automotive Recall Specialist, you’ll be a friendly, trusted face connecting vehicle owners with important, in some cases, life-saving safety repairs. You’ll travel within your assigned area, spend most of your day on the road, visit customers’ latest registered address, educating them on the impact of their open recalls, and secure their approval for you to facilitate repair onsite.  

Thisrole is heavily focused oncustomerinteraction,where building trust, guiding conversations confidently, and providing solutions are key to success. In addition to outreach, you will perform approved, intermediate level repairs. You’ll receive specific training; however, light mechanical and/or tool knowledge is recommended. 


What You’ll Get to Do 

  • Be in the field every day, connecting with vehicle owners face-to-face
  • Help people understand why recall repairs matter, and why they shouldn’t wait
  • Guide customers step-by-step through scheduling service with local dealerships
  • Answer questions, ease concerns, and confidently handle objections
  • Track your progress and conversations in our systems in real time 
  • Work independently while hitting goals and making a visible impact 

What You Need 

Required 

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
  • 1-3+ years of customer service/sales experience
  • Light mechanical/and or tool knowledge.
  • Comfortable working independently 
  • Ability to work Saturday and occasional travel
  • Strong communication, customer service, and follow-up skills
  • Physical ability to get in and out of your vehicle, ascend and descend stairs, work in outdoor weather conditions, and move objects weighing up to twenty pounds. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Automotive background
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Individual compensation offered for this position will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
