Job description

Description of the role:

The Recall Technician at Gwinnett Place Ford is responsible for providing high-quality automotive service in a a fast-paced environment. This role requires technical proficiency and the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Ford issued recalls to manufacture specifications
  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
  • Repair vehicle issues accurately and promptly
  • Ensure customer vehicles are serviced and repaired to the highest standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations and vehicle updates
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment  
  • Provide Video Multi-Point inspections to all customers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an automotive lube technician preferred
  • Previous Ford Service and Recall Certification Preferred
  • Previous experience as a mobile service technician preferred but not required
  • Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in automotive repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
