What is the 3 month rule for jobs?

The 3 month rule in the context of employment often refers to a probationary period lasting three months, during which an employer evaluates a new employee's performance and suitability for the role. During this time, employees may have limited job security and benefits, and employers can typically terminate employment with minimal notice. This period helps both parties determine if the employment arrangement is a good fit.
