What does a real estate office manager do?

A real estate office manager oversees the business aspects of running a property or community association, including administrative, financial, and customer service tasks. In a large property management office, you may have an administrative assistant to handle clerical tasks. In a smaller office, your duties combine both the clerical and sales aspects of the job. To thrive as a Real Estate Office Manager, you need strong organizational, administrative, and real estate industry knowledge, often backed by experience in office management or a relevant certification. Common challenges include managing competing priorities, ensuring compliance with real estate regulations, and maintaining smooth office operations during busy periods. Effective organization, strong communication skills, and proficiency with real estate software can help address these challenges.
