You will be a partner with engineering to provide expertise and innovative solutions that support the engineering process. Electronics Technicians provide technical resources, knowledge, assistance, and support engineers with many of the "hands on" technical tasks associated with engineering.

What You Will Do
  • Performs a variety of technical tasks which require an entry level understanding of all technical objectives.
  • Provides support to areas such as research, design, development, test, manufacturing, or process improvement with some of the latest technology including new and upgrading systems for the US Military and government as well as militaries of our allies.
  • Perform as a member of a technical team utilizing effective communication skills. Contacts are primarily within the immediate work unit. May become lead on projects. There are many growth opportunities, competitive wages and tuition reimbursement as well.
  • Utilizes routine test or diagnostic equipment. Ability to learn and use software tools.
  • Receptive to mentoring from peers in technical community. Participates in developing new approaches and techniques to achieve continuous improvement in all work processes.
  • Documentation of job specific activities such as electronic design, modifications, data collection, calibration, and Design of Experiment data.
  • Able to utilize schematics, procedures, engineering drawings, and follow written/verbal instructions, including test procedures.
  • Operate in accordance with corporate, operations, and division policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with accepted business ethics. Adheres to all applicable environmental, safety and health procedures.
  • Applies electronic theory to lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic products which requires a moderate understanding of the general technical aspects of the position.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
