What You Will Do:

Raytheon is seeking a Metrology Database Support Administrator to maintain, optimize and support our Calibration Management Software (CMS) database. The CMS database manages calibration, measurement, and recall data used across multiple Raytheon sites.

In this role, you’ll help to ensure system reliability, data integrity and efficient data workflows. You will work closely with metrology engineers, test and validation teams, and IT to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement across operations. You’ll also collaborate with teams across multiple Raytheon sites, providing opportunities for both personal and professional growth

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining, updating and configuring CMS database structures for high volume calibration and measurement data.
  • Acting as a go-to person for metrology data management.
  • Automating data validation, processing and reporting routines.
  • Troubleshooting data issues and ensuring system uptime and data quality.
  • Documenting system configurations and assisting team members with data entry, reporting and analysis needs.

This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon’s Tucson, AZ facility.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Typically Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience working with databases and/or metrology data systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.
  • Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with IndySoft calibration management software.
  • Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational database design and optimization.
  • Knowledge of languages or tools such as Pascal/Delphi, VBScript, VBA, Power Query, C, C++, PowerShell, HTBasic.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills; comfortable working across multiple engineering and operations teams.
  • Familiarity with metrology quality standards or audit requirements (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 17025, ANSI Z540, NIST).

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
