Job description

Job Overview

Rally Networks is a rapidly growing regional internet service provider seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to help expand our customer base throughout the communities we serve.

This is a full-time, year-round position focused primarily on door-to-door residential sales. The Outside Sales Representative will travel to Rally Networks service areas, work each assigned community thoroughly, and educate residents about Rally's fiber internet, phone, and other available services.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, comfortable working independently, and driven to meet sales goals. This position offers a base salary plus commission, company-paid travel expenses, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Rally will train, no experience in telecommunications is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door sales in assigned Rally Networks communities.
  • Explain Rally's services.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate service package.
  • Follow up with prospective customers and make multiple visits to homes when appropriate.
  • Contact local businesses during slower residential sales periods to identify new sales and upgrade opportunities.
  • Maintain professional conduct and represent Rally Networks positively in every community.
  • Meet established activity, sales, accuracy, and customer-experience goals.

Travel and Work Schedule

This position requires frequent travel within states where Rally Networks currently provides service.

This is a full time position but hours will be afternoon and evening during the week days and Saturday.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk through residential neighborhoods and navigate steps, sidewalks, gravel, hills, and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Ability to carry sales materials and necessary equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally assist with temporary service-installation duties after receiving proper training.
