Job description

We are seeking an experienced broadband deployment Supervisor to join our Operations Team. The ideal team member will have experience in outside plant maintenance, central office telecom work, and fiber optic broadband projects. This position is perfect for candidates who are interested in a long-term career at our family owned company, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn new skills while working with a team of trained and motivated professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the broadband deployment installer/repairer team in the local area. supervises staff that Installs, maintains, and repairs broadband network, cable, subscriber carrier systems, terminal, protection device, and customer owned equipment.
  • May also diagnose and repair trouble in switching equipment, voice frequency repeaters, loop extenders and cable loading systems and other broadband equipment.
  • Typically installs drops, ONTs, splices fiber, and performs initial wiring or rewiring for new customers
  • Performs internal locating services for Rally Networks for required Oregon and Idaho 811 tickets.
  • Manages day to day operations and supervises personnel in all the above mentioned responsibilities
  • Approves timesheets and ensures accuracy in all reporting and inventory needs.
  • Communicates effectively with other leadership and follows directions of the Operations Manager.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-4 years of experience in an industry related role
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
