Join Our Team as a Quality Control & Supply Runner
Guns N' Hoses Roofing & Exteriors is seeking an experienced Quality Control & Supply Runner to join our growing team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This full-time Quality Control & Supply Runner role is perfect for someone with a strong background in residential roofing and siding who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys working in the field, and values providing exceptional customer service. As a Quality Control & Supply Runner, you'll play a key role in supporting our production team by ensuring every project meets our high standards while keeping crews supplied and job sites running efficiently.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $25.00 per hour

  • Full-time W-2 position (40 hours per week)
  • Company vehicle provided during working hours
  • Additional after-hours repair opportunities may be available for qualified individuals
Responsibilities
As our Quality Control & Supply Runner, you will:
  • Perform final quality inspections on completed roofing and siding projects
  • Ensure installations meet Guns N' Hoses' quality standards
  • Deliver materials and supplies to active job sites
  • Pick up final customer payments when needed
  • Support production with field coordination and job site logistics
  • Assist with minor roofing and siding repairs as assigned
  • Travel throughout the Grand Rapids service area (typically within a 60–90-minute radius, with occasional travel beyond)
Qualifications
We're looking for a Quality Control & Supply Runner who has:
  • Minimum 5 years of residential roofing and siding experience

  • Residence in or near the Grand Rapids, Michigan area
  • Strong knowledge of roofing and siding installation, repair, and quality standards
  • The ability to identify installation issues and ensure projects are completed correctly
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A dependable, self-motivated, and professional work ethic
  • The ability to lift materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Basic hand tools (preferred)
