Onshore Web Accessibility Testing Lead
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
5-7+ years of experience in the testing/quality engineering space and should be familiar with both functional and non-functional aspects of software validation.
Candidate needs to be familiar with the WCAG requirements and the field of digital accessibility (https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/).
Hands on practical experience leading/overseeing a team of offshore resources. Responsible for the oversight and mentoring of 12 accessibility offshore testers.
Experience working in an Agile work environment.
Extensive project management skills: helping manager with estimating, and preparation of time tracking, budgeting, and status reporting.
Assist in testing and resolution of issues in standard testing and annual audit scans.
Must be proficient in most accessibility tools and methods including: Manual Keyboard Testing, JAWS, axe DevTools, Color Contrast Analyzer, Space Bookmarklet. Familiarity with Mobile testing on iOS and Android.
ATS (Accessibility Testing Specialists) Team interfacing with project teams and stakeholders, and hence, a candidate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Selected candidate will oversee daily project execution, while helping ATS leadership with key strategic priorities.
Flexibility, Diplomacy, Independence, and being Proactive are important to be successful in this role.
