The role enforces continuous integration and testing practices across all applications, ensuring each release meets functional, performance, and security requirements before deployment.
  • The manager establishes automated and manual testing frameworks that validate large scale data ingestion, processing accuracy, and system interoperability across integrated services such as multimedia processing, forensic tools, and evidence review applications. This includes validation of high availability systems supporting thousands of concurrent users and petabyte scale data environments.
  • The position oversees quality control activities including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and regression validation. The manager ensures that all development outputs align with cybersecurity policies, zero trust principles, and Executive Order 14028 requirements, including secure logging, encryption, and continuous monitoring.
  • The quality assurance manager works directly with developers, DevOps engineers, and program leadership to integrate quality gates into CI CD pipelines. The role drives early defect detection, enforces coding and testing standards, and ensures traceability from requirements through deployment.
  • The QA manager evaluates system performance, scalability, and reliability across cloud and on premises environments, including DCAP2, classified networks, and development platforms. The role validates infrastructure components such as Kubernetes clusters, cloud services, and data pipelines to ensure operational readiness.
  • The position supports program management by contributing to risk identification, mitigation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives. The manager produces quality metrics, test reports, and audit artifacts that demonstrate compliance, system readiness, and mission effectiveness.

  • The position requires demonstrated experience in quality assurance within large scale software development environments, including enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and data intensive applications. The candidate shows expertise in automated testing, test framework development, and CI/CD integration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of agile methodologies, particularly SAFe, and applies QA practices within iterative development cycles. Experience validating microservices architectures, APIs, and distributed systems is required.
  • The role demands deep understanding of cybersecurity validation, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and compliance with federal security standards such as FISMA and NIST guidelines.
  • The candidate shows experience testing high volume data systems, including streaming pipelines, search platforms, and large scale databases. Familiarity with forensic data processing or law enforcement systems strengthens performance.
  • The position requires the ability to lead QA efforts across multiple teams, enforce standards, and communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting federal or law enforcement environments is a plus.
