Quality Assurance Manager – Foodservice  
Bishop and Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager – Foodservice for an excellent client in Honolulu, HI.

Quality Assurance Manager – Foodservice
We’re seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead product testing, food safety programs, and quality initiatives in a fast paced plant and warehouse environment. This role ensures product integrity, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform microbiological and chemical testing on raw materials and finished products
  • Oversee lab equipment calibration, sanitation, and documentation
  • Lead Food Safety and Quality programs; train staff on GMPs and compliance requirements
  • Monitor product quality, weight control, and antibiotic testing
  • Communicate quality issues to production and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain accurate records and required state certifications
  • Ensure compliance with SQF, regulatory, and customer standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols

Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s preferred
  • 1+ year of QA or food/beverage industry experience
  • Strong math, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to taste/evaluate sugar-based, milk-based, and caffeine-based products
  • Comfortable working in wet environments and around chemicals/allergens
  • Flexible schedule including overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings
