Quality Assurance Manager

Admin Tech Officials and Manage Seattle, WA, US

Salary Range: $90,000.00 – $140,000.00 annually

Puget Sound Coatings has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with International Organization for Standardization ISO standards and International Aerospace Quality Group AS9100 requirements. This position ensures product quality, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness within a manufacturing and/or aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Manager leads internal auditing activities, corrective and preventive actions, quality metrics, supplier quality oversight, and external certification audits while promoting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Experience Required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance or related engineering field.
  • Experience managing AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with internal and external quality audits.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Understanding of quality tools and methodologies, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of inspection methods, calibration systems, and quality documentation.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
