Job description

Summary of Position:    

The Data Center Admin Assistant will work closely with the Project Manager and project teams to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of utility construction projects. This role involves assisting in on-boarding employees, assisting with data driven reports, and normal clerical tasks 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support Project Manager in on-boarding employees and maintaining trackers 
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of project schedules, cost tracking, and budgets 
  • Enforce all Company, OSHA and other applicable procedures and standards  
  • Assist with oversight, training and development of crew 
  • Complete all administrative documentation in a timely and accurate manner (safety audits and observations, final review of production, manage change orders, prepare bills for accounting) 
  • Promptly complete authorization of all invoices, receipts, and fuel charges 
  • Works collaboratively with customers to define value-add activities and ensure their needs are being met 
  • Improve personal, technical, and supervisory skills through personal development plans and offered trainings 
  • Represent and promote the company’s mission, vision, and values 
  • Safety training as required by position 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Essential Education and Qualifications:  

  • High School education or GED 
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Previous utility construction experience and management experience 
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence  
  • Ability to use computers /electronic devices  
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
