Job description

Job Summary:
Alliance Group is seeking a full-time Heat Pump Installer based out of our West Lebanon, NH operations center.
This is a field-based position responsible for the routine installation of heat pumps and refrigeration piping for a variety of residential and commercial HVAC and related mechanical systems, with opportunities to learn and train on other HVAC/R-related systems. 
The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and high-level customer service.

Role-Specific Duties:
  • Determine diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations for HVAC/R systems
  • Safely perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance routines.
  • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
Organization-Specific Duties:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating and fully explaining current issues, timelines, and resolutions to customers when appropriate.
  • Identify and report to owner potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).
  • Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company work vehicle.
Role-Specific:
  • At least 2 years of HVAC experience required (residential OR commerical - we will train!)
  • NH and/or VT Gas license required
  • EPA Certification desired.
  • Additional certifications such as S-Electrical, and NORA Oil are a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently.
  • High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion and integrity.
  • Proactive, positive problem-solving skills.
  • Must maintain a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
  • Must be able to climb up and down Scaffolding, Ladders, Stairs as job requires.
  • U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory
  • Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.
  • A pre-employment post-offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.
