General Summary
Essential Job Accountabilities
  • Responsible for pump repair, troubleshooting, and repair of water well pumps
  • Job preparation including assembling parts, supplies and materials
  • Train Pump Technicians and maintain a safe working environment
  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing company issued equipment
  • Responsible for well rehabilitation efforts using chemicals and mechanical means
  • Administrative work including reports, driving logs, timesheets

Education
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Certification
  • Valid state driver's license and Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days

Work Experience
  • Must have 1-3 years previous pump installation and repair experience as Pump Installer or Pump Technician

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must have working understanding of pumps, motors, wells, electricity, controls, piping, rigging, chemicals and well rehabilitation tools
  • Must be extremely safety conscious and understand hazards and dangers associated with the job
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain company equipment including pump rig, service truck, welder, generator, hand tools, power tools, grinders, drills, chain wrenches and come-along
  • Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to problem-solve when faced with obstacles

WAGE RANGE = $27 - $35/hr with health benefits starting 1st of the month following date of hire.

Benefits may vary for positions located outside of the continental United States.
Base Hourly Wage Range :
Hourly: $27.00 $35.00
Pay may vary based on relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors. Collective Bargaining Agreements will govern as applicable.
