Waco, Texas (considering candidates in Austin, San Antonio)


$25 - $40 per hour + Overtime


A Pump Installer / Well Pump Installer / Field Service Technician is required for a field-based role installing and servicing well pump systems across Texas. This opportunity is suited to an experienced pump professional who can confidently lead on-site work, manage a small field team and deliver well pump installation and removal projects.


The role offers the chance to take ownership of specialised pump installation work, operating as the lead technician on a rig truck with support from additional field technicians. The position involves regular travel throughout Texas, with most assignments located across the Hill Country and Houston areas. Candidates will typically return home for weekends, although some projects may require several nights away depending on job duration.


Pump Installer / Well Pump Installer / Field Service Technician Benefits:

  • Communicate with project managers and engineers when required to complete projects successfully

  • Take responsibility for ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently on site


Pump Installer / Well Pump Installer / Field Service Technician Requirements:

  • Experience installing and pulling well pumps
  • Several years of hands-on well pump experience
  • Comfortable leading a small field crew and taking responsibility on-site
  • Strong mechanical pump installation and service background
  • Experience working with pump systems, motors and related equipment
  • Texas Pump Installer Licence is highly desirable, although candidates with strong well pump experience will also be considered
