Position Description
We are looking for an experienced Pump Installer with deep well experience to join our Hawaiian Drilling and Pump Services family in Kapolei, HI, on the island of Oahu.
Position Summary
Being a Pump Installer at HDPS means working with both office and field teams as a working foreman. Your day will involve the installation of new deep well pumps and appurtenances, including electrical and mechanical. You will be responsible for pulling, servicing, repairing, and re-installing of old pumps, well development and test pumping of new wells, along with the development, service, and repair of existing wells.
Essential Functions
  • Perform all work on specific jobs in accordance with work program given to him by the project or department manager.
  • Operate and properly maintain the pump rig, service truck, and support equipment assigned to him. To perform preventive maintenance of his equipment and keep accurate records of oil changes, repairs, etc.
  • See that all workmanship and materials installed meet the contract specifications, highest quality, and highest industry standards.
  • Implement and follow HDPS' safety plan including conducting weekly toolbox safety meetings.
  • Supervise and train the helpers assigned to him.
  • Fill out and maintain daily work reports and timecards. Turn in to office weekly for paying payroll.
  • Maintain accurate technical information, including well development, testing logs, alignment surveys, record of pump installed and removed etc. Turn in weekly with time.
  • Report daily to customer's field representative and provide information as required.

Pay Range : $50-$55/hr

Position Requirements
Required Education, Experience, and Technical Knowledge
  • We want you to be successful! Having at least 7-10 years of experience working with deep well submersible pumps or deep well vertical turbine pumps will make your start here with us much smoother.
  • Must have the ability to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
