Job description

Aptive is seeking a Website Publisher to supports a client Web Team by publishing, editing, updating, and maintaining digital content across their organizational website, SharePoint, ServiceNow Employee Center, and other agency web platforms. 


Responsibilities include creating and formatting webpages, uploading documents and multimedia content, responding to publishing requests through ticketing systems, ensuring compliance with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility requirements, and supporting consistent implementation of agency branding and federal plain language standards. The Website Publisher collaborates closely with the client, writers, designers, and technical teams to deliver accurate, timely, and user-friendly digital communications products.


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting website publishing or content management activities.
  • Experience working within Drupal or similar content management systems.
  • Knowledge of HTML and webpage formatting principles.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements and federal plain language standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience using ticketing or workflow management systems.
  • Experience supporting federal agency websites or communications programs.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS).
  • Experience optimizing digital content for usability and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products for web asset preparation.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder communication skills.
