Job description

Job Title: Hospitality Ambassador
Pay Range: $18.00 to $18.00 per hour (Weekly Pay & Pay Advance Before Payday!)
Shift/Schedule:
  • Weekend and Evening availability REQUIRED

If you're outgoing and friendly, and enjoy working outside and meeting new people, we have just the job for you -- Hospitality Ambassador. This is also a great opportunity for retirees, veterans, and graduating high school seniors who are looking for their first job.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • This role will provide a high level of visibility at the street level to carry out a wide variety of tasks to improve the overall experience and appearance of the zone they are assigned to. Must maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
  • Actively acknowledge and engage pedestrians and visitors with a friendly greeting/smile in order to provide directions and/or city information.
  • Litter removal -- While moving through the zone with a rolling trash can that has supplies/tools, remove litter: fast food bags, cups, soda cans, cigarette butts, and other debris on the streets/sidewalks and alleys. Remove graffiti and posters from light posts, trash cans, news boxes, etc. Pull weeds.
  • Damp wipe and straighten outdoor surfaces, such as trash can lids, news boxes, etc.
  • Be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to the Safety Ambassadors via two-way radios. Must be able to complete basic daily reports of tasks completed, which requires being proficient in speaking, reading, and writing the English language.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have the physical capacity to walk and (may include riding a 3-wheeled bike cart) continuously during an eight-hour shift, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions (free uniforms provided)
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports.
