FLORIDA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONERThe Florida Public Service Commission Nominating Council is accepting applications to fillthe two term vacancies on the Florida Public Service Commission. This is a full-timeposition appointed by the Governor with official headquarters in Tallahassee and an annualsalary presently at $158,094. Selection process for these vacancies will be held by theFlorida Public Service Commission Nominating Council who will identify a slate of no lessthan three (3) applicants to propose to the Governor for each of the two vacancies. Senateconfirmation of the Governors appointments is required.Applicants must be competent and knowledgeable in one or more fields which include, butare not limited to: public affairs, law, economics, accounting, engineering, finance, naturalresource conservation, energy, or another field substantially related to the duties andfunctions of the Commission.An electronic copy of the application packet can be obtained athttp://www.leg.state.fl.us/pscnc.
