Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
Assist the staff of the Office of the Provost with implementation and coordination of academic initiatives and other specific projects, activities, and events in support of the Office. Assist data collection and analysis to support strategic mission-related activities and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission in Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
-Provide assistance for projects related to institutional planning, decision-making, accreditation, and assessment of institutional effectiveness.
-Assist with institutional surveys for campus planning and continuous improvement.
-Provide necessary support to assist the process of institutional and programmatic accreditation.
-Maintain and help in building repositories for institutional effectiveness and outcomes assessment data.
-Help update the content for the Provost Office on the website.
-Conduct research on topics assigned by the Associate Vice President of Institutional Research and Planning and prepare executive summaries for informed decisions.
-Document and respond to ad hoc requests for data and data analysis, as needed.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required. Must be a graduate student in good standing in a degree or certification program at Lewis University. Possess solid analytic, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Possess strong skills in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, with an attention to detail. Experience with visualization programs. Basic knowledge and skills with SPSS. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Possess ability to take responsibility in meeting deadlines. Possess ability to take minutes for IRP staff meetings. Knowledge of database is preferred.
