How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Drive Surgical Growth: Identify market opportunities and execute strategic outreach plans to increase referral volumes across a defined territory.

  • Cultivate Provider Networks: Act as the primary clinical liaison for referring clinics, building enduring relationships to ensure Ascension remains the premier choice for patient referrals.

  • Educate the Medical Community: Deliver high-impact presentations on surgical outcomes, care pathways, and referral criteria to guarantee optimal, timely routing for high-risk patients.

  • Partner with Leadership: Collaborate with hospital and service line leaders to align outreach initiatives with broader program goals, delivering a "concierge-level" experience for referring offices.

  • Leverage Market Intelligence: Track referral trends and market share data to continuously refine outreach tactics, ensuring a competitive edge in subspecialty care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking
  • Healthcare Business Development Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of proven success driving growth in physician relations, medical sales, or a related healthcare field (Preferred).

  • Strategic Territory Management: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a complex geographic territory, including conducting frequent in-person outreach to build and sustain long-term provider trust.
