Dynacast, a subsidiary of Form Technologies headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is a global manufacturer of die cast metal components serving markets such as automotive, healthcare, consumer electronics, medical devices, and other high growth industries. The company operates 23 manufacturing facilities across 16 countries.
Dynacast produces high-precision metal components by leveraging innovative technology, unmatched engineering expertise, and the most precise die casting capabilities in the world. The company partners with customers by identifying opportunities to redesign or consolidate products and assemblies through die casting using aluminum, magnesium and zinc.
The Form Technologies portfolio also includes Signicast (investment casting) and OptiMIM (metal injection molding), making it a global leader in metal manufacturing.
Dynacast is seeking a Global Business Development Manager (GBDM) to accelerate growth in high-tech, high-growth markets and develop the company's next generation of strategic customer relationships.
The Opportunity:
This is a highly hunter-oriented, global business devleopment role focused on identifying and winning complex, high-volume opportunties with leading OEMs and technology companies. The GBDM will build relationships with senior customer stakeholders, identify opportunities early in the product-development cycle, and partner with Dynacast's engineering and manufacturing teams to turn customer needs into differentiated manufacturing solutions.
The primary geographic focus for production will be Asia Pacific, while the role will work across Dynacast's global manufacturing network and support multinational customers across multiple regions. Significant international travel should be expected.
The ideal candidate is a proven technical B2B sales professional who enjoys opening doors, developing strategic relationships, navigating complex sales cycles, and winning large programs. Experience selling into high-tech or other rapidly growing tech markets is strongly preferred.
This is a home-based role with a flexible schedule and significant interaction across global time zones. A West Coast location is preferred to support alignment with the VP of Global Sales and Asia Pacific travel requirements.
The compensation package will include a base pay plus commission.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or or a related field required.
  • 8+ years of technical B2B sales experience in engineered products, precision manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering program managers, global sourcing managers, R&D engineers, and other customer stakeholders to understand requirements, promote Dynacast solutions, and provide sales support.
  • Experience selling to high-volume OEMs.
  • Strong technical presentation, negotiation, and proposal development skills.
  • Background in high-pressure die casting, injection molding, Thixomolding, metal injection molding (MIM), or a related advanced manufacturing process preferred.
  • Sales experience in high-growth or high-tech markets, including exposure to supply chain, manufacturing, and product development environments, preferred.
  • Experience working with hyperscalers, major technology companies, data centers, drone manufacturers, humanoid robotics companies, aerospace and defense organizations, solar companies, or other high-growth technology customers preferred.
