Summary/Objective
The District Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and cultivating new clients within a defined territory and developing relationships with brokers. District Sales Managers create their own prospecting activities and are constantly looking to turn contacts and relationships into clients. The District Sales Managers works with prospects in a consultative manner to provide them with insight and solutions that will improve the prospects workforce solution.
Essential Functions

  1. Reaches and exceeds assigned sales goals.
  2. Develops and executes marketing strategies to your prospects such as cold calling, target drops, email campaign, etc.
  3. Schedules appointments with key decision makers.
  4. Completes and submits accurate business proposals.
  5. Mines existing and prospective clients for referrals.
  6. Establishes and maintains customer relations.
  7. Recommends Proliant's products and services to customers, based on customers' needs and interests
  8. Answers customer questions about products and prices.
  9. Visits client and prospective client sites to drop off marketing information, meet decision makers, and provide information on our products; drives to visit clients and prospective clients.
  10. Present and Demo products and services on sight or virtually
  11. Develops and grows a business network for the purpose of generating referrals.
  12. Prospect Qualification by identifying company needs, decision-makers, demographics, industries, etc.
  13. Takes prospects through full cycle (lead gen. - closing).
  14. Participates in ongoing system, industry and core knowledge training.
  15. Develops and retains knowledge of products, pricing, company contacts and sales guidelines.
  16. Tracks and maintains all event activity in Hubspot.
  17. Attends weekly Sales Team Meetings and meetings with supervisors and leadership.
  18. Professionally services clients and collaborates with other representatives to ensure a smooth transition for the client.
  19. Stays knowledgeable as new Company products are added or as products change to demonstrate effectively to clients; also stays abreast of changing payroll laws, employment laws, and other industry related items.
  20. Partners with management to ensure proper product alignment with client needs.
  21. Other job duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners. Additionally, this role routinely requires the employee to drive to various client and prospective client locations. This role routinely requires travel to client locations, trade shows, headquarters, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is in a stationary position operating computer and other office equipment. The employee additionally will stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will regularly drive to various client and prospective client locations or other meeting locations. The employee will occasionally be required to carry, lift, and move up to 10 pounds.
The employee in this position will frequently communicate with employees and clients, and must be able to do so clearly, effectively, and professionally.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, and the employee is required to work an approved schedule that falls within the Company business hours of 8am-6pm. Out of town travel is occasionally required.
Required Education and Experience
  1. Bachelor's Degree required.
  2. 2-5 years' experience in a quota driven sales position.
  3. Previous industry experience a plus.
  4. Proven experience in prospecting and closing.
  5. High understanding of and ability to develop proficiency in Company software and all other applicable software programs.
  6. Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and accountable.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  8. Ability to manage and complete multiple projects and activities with strict time sensitive deadlines.
  9. Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
  10. Previous sales experience a plus.
  11. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
