Duration ::: 12 Months Contract
Fundamental requirements:

A

dvanced working knowledge of and 12+ years of professional experience with network administration of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls

T

horough, in-depth knowledge of and experience with TCP/IP and all layers of the OSI Model

C

onsiderable working knowledge of HP Proliant and HP Blade server environment

C

onsiderable working knowledge of Cisco UCS infrastructure

C

onsiderable working knowledge of EMC VNX Storage Area Network environment, including zoning configuration

M

eticulous attention to detail, skilled in authoring technical documentation, ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and to work both independently and in a team environment

E

xceptional verbal and written communication skills

L

egally able to be hired as a state employee
Desired but not required:

W

orking knowledge of VMWare, Citrix, VPN
Responsibilities include:

R

outine network administration

W

orking with Office of Information Security in remediation of security vulnerabilities

I

nstallation of operating system, application, and hardware patches and upgrades to servers and network devices as required

N

etwork security configuration and administration

C

onfiguration and maintenance of Cisco ASA, ASR, Cube, and 6509 core switch

S

pecial projects installing server and network equipment and software

C

reating and maintaining network documentation as required, to include Visio diagrams

Qualifications

12+ years of professional experience with network administration of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
