Job description

Summary/Objective: The project supervisor supervises a crew of laborers in the installation of plant material by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Supervises a crew of up to 15 employees and prioritizes work.
  2. Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
  3. Conducts regular tailgate safety meetings.
  4. Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
  5. Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
  6. Enforces all company and client-required safety policies and procedures.
  7. Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
  8. Submits crewmembers? timesheets to payroll by deadline.
  9. Track all activity performed outside of the project scope and submit activity to the corporate office for billing.
  10. Ensures all material purchases are made according to the corporate standard operating procedures.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
