Job description

Supreme Industries is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of civil construction and earthwork projects from startup through closeout. This role is responsible for overall project planning, execution, financial performance, client coordination, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is a strong builder of teams and relationships, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping projects safe, on schedule, and on budget. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and brings strong operational, financial, and communication skills to the table. The Project Manager will work closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure each project is executed at the highest level.

Location: multiple potential locations throughout PA, NY and the northeast. Candidates must be willing to travel and/or relocate to project locations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all phases of assigned civil and earthwork construction projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, owners, engineers, subcontractors, and project partners
  • Work closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Assistant Project Managers to drive project execution
  • Oversee procurement of materials, rentals, and subcontracted scopes
  • Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, billing, and closeout requirements
  • Track schedules, production goals, and job progress, and take action to resolve issues that impact delivery
  • Review subcontractor and vendor invoices and support accurate monthly billings
  • Maintain strong communication across field and office teams to ensure alignment and accountability
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, quality, and operational excellence
  • Mentor and develop project team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment

Qualifications

  • 5โ€“10+ years of project management experience in civil construction, earthwork, site development, or related heavy construction work
  • Strong knowledge of construction operations, project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects from preconstruction handoff through final closeout
  • Experience building relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Procore experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
