Are you a project manager who has worked for a consulting engineering company or industrial manufacturer with at least five years' experience under your belt?   Would you like to join a "family" that's disguised as a company? lol.    Our client may be one of the best employers in Montreal with a cohesive working culture that keeps many if not most of their employees staying 10, 20, 30 years or more ( ! ).   This client is a consulting engineering company, a leading international designer and procurer of industrial material handling equipment for heavy industry and is situated in Montreal.  They are presently looking for a bilingual Project Manager who can lead the team to drive all phases of project management:  resource planning, HSE planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, procurement, logistics and fostering client relations.  He or she will convene with vendors on a global scale:   negotiate prices, payment and delivery in order to obtain the highest quality, merchandise at the lowest purchase costs.  A valid passport for North American travel (10% of the year) is necessary, and a driver's permit (eventually if not immediately) for renting cars is also necessary.   Partner with engineering and design teams and apply critical chain methodology to maximize profitability by coordinating efficient design.   Maximize sales during project execution by identifying / creating opportunities for growth within the scope of works.   Participation in the monthly project steering committee.   A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is ideal, while OIQ and/or a PMP is a plus.

En collaboration avec les équipes d'ingénierie et de conception, vous appliquerez la méthode de la chaîne critique afin d'optimiser la rentabilité grâce à une conception efficace.   Vous maximiserez les ventes pendant l'exécution des projets en identifiant et en créant des opportunités de croissance.   Vous participerez aux réunions mensuelles du comité de pilotage du projet.  Un baccalauréat en génie est idéal, tandis qu'une certification OIQ et/ou PMP est préférable.
