Job description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Partner with executive leadership to align project initiatives with strategic business priorities and long-term operational goals.
  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management, including scope definition, budgeting, resource planning, risk assessment, and execution strategy.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, staffing models, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across departments to ensure alignment, accountability, and efficient execution of project objectives.
  • Monitor and communicate project performance, proactively identifying risks, mitigating issues, and ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain project governance standards, ensuring consistency in methodologies, reporting, and documentation.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to project team members; foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Champion process improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean or continuous improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency and outcomes.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree or PMP certification preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive project management experience, with demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience in construction and/or general contractor project environments (highly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$146,300.00 - $271,700.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
