Shaw/Stewart is seeking a driven and experienced Manager of Millwork Project Operations to lead our Project Management and Estimating teams and oversee the full lifecycle of commercial and residential millwork projects. In this role, you will be responsible for building a high-performance team, managing project costs and schedules, and cultivating lasting relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable (LMA) โ€“ Clearly set department expectations, and delegate and empower employees to maximize their performance and efficiency
  • Manage Project Costs to Budget โ€“ Set labor and material cost and margin strategy to meet or exceed annual sales and margin goals
  • Manage Project Schedules โ€“ Manage project lifecycle from bid to closeout and coordinate project schedules with Production timelines
  • Relationship Management โ€“ Establish, maintain, and build effective relationships with Customers, Vendors, and Company team members

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of progressive leadership experience with minimum 2 years of management experience
  • 2-4 years of building material or construction experience in sales, estimating, or project management capacity
  • Familiar with Architectural Drawings and Specifications
  • Familiar with Field Templating and Shop Drawings
  • Effective Communication and Time Management Skills
  • High proficiency with Excel


Preferred:

  • Architectural Millwork Experience
  • Project Management Certification
