Job description

We are assembling a small team of fiber splicers to work on residential neighborhoods, focusing on both routine splicing and emergency or outage response. The team, typically 2-5 members, will tackle projects involving mixed residential networks. Truck, trailer, and all necessary splicing equipment are provided, with production-based pay. Occasional day travel and some out-of-town projects may be required, though overnight stays are infrequent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fiber splicing in residential neighborhoods
  • Respond to emergency and outage-related fiber repairs (under 25% of work)
  • Operate and maintain splicing equipment and tools
  • Collaborate effectively within a small team of 2-5 members
