Job description

Construction Project Manager

Direct Hire

Location: Near Anaheim


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage assigned construction project(s) that includes planning and overseeing construction projects from pre-construction through occupation.
  • Managing project timelines and budget.
  • Pre-Construction and evaluating bid documents.
  • Reviewing plans with Architect and finalize design development.
  • Oversee pre-construction kick-off meeting and hold weekly meetings with team.
  • Develop and manage subcontractor vendor base.
  • Develop project schedule.
  • Submit and secure required building permits and certificates of occupancy.
  • Procure materials & equipment, negotiate subcontractor pricing and change orders.
  • Conduct site inspection & analysis
  • Coordinate regular inspections & testing as needed
  • Create final punch lists for job completion.
  • Coordinate final testing of systems and components and final walk through.


REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • 5-10 years experience in commercial construction project management experience.
  • Experience pulling city, county and state permits.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Office 365.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • High school diploma required.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or related field a plus.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and/or see.

· The employee frequently is required to drive, stand, walk; sit.

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

· Vision abilities required.
