Job description

A global biopharmaceutical company is in need of an IT Project Manager Consultant.
The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives that support the company's biotechnology research, development, and operations. This role bridges the gap between scientific teams, IT, and business functions to ensure that digital infrastructure, data systems, and enterprise applications are implemented effectively, securely, and on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the end-to-end management of IT projects across research, clinical, and corporate functions.
  • Collaborate with scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and risks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GxP, HIPAA, FDA).
  • Coordinate the deployment and integration of lab systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN, ERP) and cloud-based platforms supporting R&D and data analytics.
  • Track project progress, report on KPIs, and ensure adherence to quality and security standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and IT governance within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Project management experience, ideally within life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Proven experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
