JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Harrisburg, The Office of Continuing Education, invites applications from dynamic and experienced individuals interested in teaching Non-Credit classes on a part-time, adjunct basis. Teaching topics may include, but are not limited to:

These roles involve delivering engaging and high-quality instruction to traditional and non-traditional students, fostering a creative and innovative learning environment, and contributing to the development of the curriculum. Instructors should be available to teach a variable work schedule.

Job DutiesKey Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality instruction in instructor's area of subject matter expertise.
  • Develop and implement course materials, lesson plans, and assignments.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
