Job description

What is PCIT?
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based treatment for young children (ages 2 to 7) with behavior problems such as tantrums, defiance, aggression, and difficulty following directions. PCIT helps parents reduce challenging behavior and improve their childโ€™s emotional and social development, all while building a stronger parent-child relationship.
We are currently looking for a contracted Implementation Specialist, preferably residing in the state of California.
As a contracted PCIT Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Oversight:ย 

  • Build vital systems relationships to sustain training infrastructure, motivate providerย ย 

  • Oversee the selection and onboarding of provider agencies for PCIT training.ย 

  • Develop and maintain implementation plans (including selection, readiness, capacity-building, and overcoming barriers to implementation).ย 

  • Ensure compliance with all state requirements and project procedures.ย 

  • Provide necessary documentation and data for required reporting.ย 


Training Support:ย 

  • Support PCIT International in tracking training activities and fidelity monitoring.ย 

  • Facilitate accessibility of training (both online and in-person), consultation, and certification preparation.ย 

  • Assist with database development and reporting as needed.ย 


Project Implementation:ย 

  • Collaborate with PCIT International to manage timelines and deliverables.ย 

  • Participate in project management meetings.ย 

  • Partner with project personnel, including the Executive Director, Project Director, Project Evaluator, and Expert Training Team.ย 
    ย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.ย 

  • Familiarity with PCITย required.ย 

  • Located in California preferred.ย 

  • Experience with evidence-based practice implementationย required.ย 

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.ย 


Compensation:

  • As aย contractor,ย you are not a full-time employee. The hours worked determineย the earned compensation. 40 hours a week is highly preferred.

  • The compensation breakdown is as follows:ย 
    $93,744 annual = $7,812/month (equivalent to 1.00 FTE)
    This will be a 1099 role, not a W2.
