Due to growth, Dematic Corp is growing its Project Controlling organization and seeking multiple Finance Project Controllers across our U.S. locations (Grand Rapids, MI; Atlanta, GA; Wauwatosa, WI; Dallas, TX).
Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role serves as a financial co-pilot to Project Execution teams, having ownership of the financial performance of a project portfolio. The position is critical to driving a strong control environment and a predictable financial culture.
This is a highly visible role at the intersection of operations and finance, ideal for individuals who thrive in a matrixed environment and want to directly influence business outcomes.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $76,500 - $112,200 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What you will do in this role:

  • Own and manage EACs (Estimate at Completion), ensuring all deviations are clearly quantified with root-cause support
  • Partner closely with Project Management and cross-functional teams to drive project performance and financial outcomes
  • Proactively identify, quantify, and mitigate risks impacting project financials
  • Drive change order management to protect and improve project profitability
  • Manage cash flow and working capital across project portfolio
  • Deliver monthly financial performance reviews to senior leadership (VP/Director level)
  • Lead weekly pacing discussions to ensure forecast commitments are achieved
  • Develop and enhance management reporting and dashboards
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to continuously improve project controlling efficiency

  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability in project-based business or manufacturing finance
  • Proven track record to own results and influence outcomes in a cross-functional environment
