The position of Bilingual Associate reports to a Director and/or Executive Director - Global Services, and will be responsible for day-to-day project management and implementation of JHMI programs. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Research and Analysis of:
  • Demographics and disease data
  • Local market conditions and healthcare trends
  • Competitive factors, including supply and demand
  • Hospital performance data, including key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • JHI performance on client engagements

Writing:
  • Proposals
  • Weekly and monthly project updates
  • Annual project overviews and assessments
  • JHM faculty site visit reports
  • Presentations for senior executives

Project Management:
  • Evaluate the feasibility of client programs in terms of cost, resources, time and client objectives
  • Establish knowledge transfer (KT) schedule
  • Work closely with JHM/JHU faculty on implementing programs
  • Ensure timely delivery of programs per contract requirements
  • Measure program outcomes
  • Facilitate expatriate staff on-boarding processes
  • Oversee logistics and staff movement
  • Work with internal and external clients on project implementation activities
  • Work with expatriate staff to meet client deliverables
  • Provide suggestions to improve and enhance client deliverables

Relationship Management:
  • Build effective working relationship with client organization staff
  • Develop collaborative relationships with internal JHM/JHU faculty and staff
  • Coordinate work with internal and external stakeholders.

The Bilingual Associate, JHI Projects will communicate with non-English speaking patients to assure accurate communication, understanding and comprehension related to care coordination. This position may require some travel overseas, approximately 30% of the work year.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required (in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, International Affairs, and/or related field), Masters in the same fields preferred
Required Licensure/Certification:
Candidates must successfully pass the required JHM approved designated language assessment prior to job offer. (Arabic)
PMP or Six Sigma preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum three (3) years of experience in business, consulting, education, public health, program development, or project management, preferably in an academic medical center or major corporate institution. International experience is a plus.
Clinical, nursing, social work, case management, research administration, or other technical health sector experience beneficial.
Salary Range: Minimum 31.53/hour - Maximum 52.06/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
