Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Project Manager for our Building & Land Engineering Division in our Plainville or Groton, CT location. This position will provide managerial leadership and overall direction on projects. The Project Manager will oversee construction efforts to ensure that a project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.

  • Identify prospective clients and, in conjunction with senior management, arrange to make proposals
  • Prepare proposal estimates of time and expenses required to complete projects
  • Participate in presenting proposals to clients
  • Participate in selecting the project team
  • Determine major project design decisions in conjunction with client and Project Officer
  • Assign duties to the project team, answer questions, and monitor progress
  • Check the accuracy of completed work
  • Maintain a close relationship with the client throughout project development and after completion
  • Provide administrative supervision of assigned staff, including performance feedback and advancement recommendations
  • Ensure that work is performed safely, in accordance with the firm's safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain full responsibility for project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Perform other related work as apparent or assigned
