Job description

Position Summary:

Manages Major Construction Projects: This position will coordinate with the Major Projects team managing projects. Review and manage project scope of work and budget for the project assigned. Secure subs as required, Supervise and manage the daily work on the project, write daily and weekly reports and manage safety requirements of the job site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily supervision of the project job site.
  • Complete safety paperwork as required for the job site.
  • Supervise and perform as company onsite Safety Manager.
  • Complete daily reports and submit as the project requires.
  • Review schedule, maintain updates as required.
  • Keep redline drawings updated for project changes.
  • Attend and represent the company at pre-bid meetings and project site visits
  • Work with suppliers as it relates to deficiencies and warranties.
  • Review work for compliance with the project drawings.
  • Assist with securing permits as required.
  • Schedule inspection from local government entities as required.
  • Perform walkthroughs with customer representatives for secure substantial completion and development of a punch list.
  • Coordinating the completion of the punch list in an expeditious manner.
  • Attend and participate in project kick-off and customer meetings following award
  • Monitor and maintain the internal project budget during the life cycle of the project
  • Assist in the development of project change order scopes of work and pricing
  • Perform other duties as assigned/required

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position manages all phases of assigned project, including sub-contractors.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • The position requires a High School Degree and 5+ years of related work experience in a construction or modular building related field.
  • Development of a prioritization system to ensure work is completed quickly and

This position requires frequent travel.
