Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Progress OpenEdge Developer to support and enhance a customized ERP platform in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver scalable business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Progress OpenEdge applications and integrations.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build and support APIs using PASOE and related technologies.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support deployments.
  • Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create technical documentation and mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Progress OpenEdge / Progress 4GL development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL, Linux/Unix, and application integration.
  • Experience with PASOE, WebSpeed, Progress databases, and OpenEdge Studio.
