Overview

The Media Intern is a temporary, learning-focused role designed to provide educational and hands-on exposure tomedia planning, buying, analytics, and agency operations across Latin American markets. This role prioritizes training,skill development, and professional growth while contributing to non-critical, supervised support tasks.The internship does not replace a full-time position and is intended to complement academic learning throughpractical experience. The Media Intern works under close supervision from the Media Supervisor and other mediateam members, supporting research, reporting, coordination, and internal processes while developing a foundationalunderstanding of media fundamentals, agency operations, and client business needs.

Responsibilities

Media Support & Learning

Assist with media planning and buying support activities across Latin American markets for assigned clients andbrands, under direct supervision. Learn and apply basic media terminology, calculations, and performance metrics across offline and digital mediachannels. Support the preparation of internal materials such as media plans, flowcharts, reports, dashboards, andpresentations for review by the media team. Assist with media billing and financial tracking activities as a supervised learning exercise. Use agency-approved tools, data sources, and platforms to support research and organization of insights.

Client & Vendor Exposure (Developmental)

Support day-to-day client-related tasks by preparing materials and coordinating internally, without independentclient ownership. Participate in client and vendor calls or meetings for observational and learning purposes. Assist with internal communication related to client requests under team guidance.

Project & Team Support

Support assigned projects by tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables under supervision. Assist local and regional teams by sharing information and responding to internal requests as directed. Help document learnings, best practices, and examples from different markets for internal knowledge sharing.

AI Capstone Project (Required Program Component)

As a core requirement of the internship program, the Media Intern will develop a supervised capstone projectfocused on solving a real business or operational problem related to the accounts they support. The project must leverage company-approved AI tools, data resources, or platforms. The scope and methodology will be defined with the intern's supervisor. The project is educational in nature and does not replace work performed by full-time employees. At the end of the internship, the intern will formally present the project to agency leadership.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or arelated field. Prior coursework or academic projects related to media or analytics are a plus.

Language & Communication

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
