Position at a Glance

We are seeking an engaging individual to serve as a Program Associate. This position plays a key role in supporting the Youth Career Connections (YCC) program, an initiative aligned with the Blueprint for Marylands Future that helps students to explore careers, set goals, and access the resources they need to thrive. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Manager of Youth Career Connections, Career Coaches, and school based counseling teams to support program delivery, events, and student engagement. The Program Associate is an essential part of creating smooth operations, strong communications, and a positive experience for every participant. Scope of Responsibilities

  • Support YCC Leadership with administrative, operational, and event planning needs.
  • Serve as primary contact for program inquiries via phone and email.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating field trips, workshops, career fairs, and special initiatives.
  • Maintain calendars and deadlines for program activities and deliverables.
  • Complete audit checklists and support compliance reporting.
  • Process eligibility documents, training requests, and certificates.
  • Conduct research and create materials to support program planning and improvement.
  • Compile data for reports, presentations, and meetings.
  • Track historical program data for reporting and evaluation.

Selection Criteria

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing documentation, schedules, and data within an office or program setting.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and AI tools. Monday.com and Maryland Workforce Exchange (MWE) experience is a plus.
  • Experience with presentation or design tools (e.g., Canva), preferred
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to partner sites.
