Job description

Job Title: Assistant, Education & Literacy Programs ย ย ย 

Location: Goodwill North Central Texas --- 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texasย 

Salary: Based on Experience

Work Hours: Full Time (40 Hours/Week). Typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am start time

General Job Duties: Assist with general administrative tasks in TEAMS and CaseWorthy (enrollment, class assignment, measurable skills gains, track academic progression, class attendance, and other duties) under the direction of the Administrator, Education & Literacy Programs. Support the accuracy of data entry and assist in submitting required documentation and reports per program guidelines and deadlines. Assist in gathering data monthly for program reporting to management. Support client enrollments and respond to recruitment inquiries as directed. Support the maintenance of policies, procedures, and regulations under guidance from the Administrator, Education & Literacy Programs. Assist with compiling, maintaining, and filing all reports, records, and other documents required in a timely manner. Attend staff meetings and other Goodwill North Central Texas events/meetings as required. Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or some college coursework preferred. Good organizational skills with attention to detail. Work productively under leadership guidance, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook and databases. Ability to interact effectively and courteously with program participants and personnel. Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Some experience in office procedures and use of normal office machines preferred.

Physical Requirements: Office environment, mobile, and ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Must have reliable transportation. This position requires the incumbent to have communication capabilities via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology.

Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements and ability to pass drug screen and background check.
